I'm a Galaxy fan, but I do so miss seeing Landon in an Everton jersey.

I just listened to a radio interview that Landon did yesterday with a Houston sports announcer and he was talking about his time at Everton. I would say he misses you guys too. The guy asked him what was it about Everton's fans....and Landon said that he prides himself on doing little things to help his team win - not just obvious things like scoring goals, which he admitted that in reality, having played 12 or 13 games and only scoring 2, wasn't that great - but it was the little things that he does to help his team win and that you fans know and appreciate those little things and that won him over. You're intelligent!

His highlights: being named in the starting lineup vs. Arsenal at the team dinner....shocked him and he realized his opportunity and ran with it; beating Manchester United with his dad in the stadium (Landon woke up sick that day and did all he could to be ready, after the game they went to dinner and then he crashed.)

He really praised Moyes. It was Moyes talking to him on the phone in November before he came that convinced him to come.

I think he'd come back in a heartbeat.

Which is why I said what I said .
Source told me ages ago that on his parting breath he said Everton have first shout .
The lad seems dead gen' , loves us . We love him . We're decent , so is he .
Tah-dah !!!

It would have to be SOME offer to waylay it now , I would suggest .
that depends on HOW MUCH we want him , though , I suppose .
For us ne'er-do-well's , it'd be done tomorra .

I hope he does.

Any idea who shows MLS highlights? or any website links to highlights? I checked all the ESPN listings for a week and theres nuthin...???

Looks like LAG are playing Houston on Sunday.

Go to that Free Footy thing . It'll list them all .
I've mislaid the address or I'd have posted it .

I still find it hard to talk about him :(

Do any British channels do MLS coverage? Channel 5 used to, I expected ESPN to but I've never noticed any Galaxy games on there (could be wrong like).

1 ; He sounds like he's your ex-fella - I felt like that with Bally , and the Big Man - .
2 ; Your Avatar is boss .

My biggest gripe with Landon was not Spurs . It was Liverpool . It got to him - the fukn Castle Grey Skull atmos' - . Otherwise , he had EVERYTHING to be able to hurt them . Nearly did in the first half . I went . I walked down with a Kopite - I live near to both grounds - tellin' him how , Uncle Sam was gonna kick his arse AGAIN , today !!!
Alas , he let me down .
Stil love him , like , but , ah well , next year , eh ???

Ha, mad thing is I didn't even like him before we signed him. Don't know why, something about him just annoyed me. Then when he was saying goodbye after the Hull game... haven't felt that bad since Dunc's last game!

Hope we get him for another loan at the very least. LOVE to get him permanently, but Galaxy will be reluctant to let him go, and they'd probably want an insane amount of money that we don't have. We can only hope, though. I wouldn't mind if we blew our entire transfer budget (all 75p of it!) to get him.

I think this is the link (Top one - starts at like 8 minutes):

Link

I feel the same as Kirsty, it hurts seeing him elsewhere because it's as though he belongs here...

Selfishly hoping if he ever moves from LA it is only ever to us..

Really? I thought vs. Liverpool that Landon was the only player who actually wanted to play soccer...er football in that game. Everyone else was only interested in kicking each other.

I've got it on DVR. I'll have to go back and watch.

But yeah....looking forward to next year.....

I was the same, but pretty much put it down to the whole Beckham / Donovan bust up, taking Becks side coz he is English, but I found out the true story and then he came here, worked hard, played well (no one...i mean no one.... plays well every game....not even Messi), embraced the fans, and grew on me very quickly...

Now I have his t-shirt....lololol

Not tryna be funny , but on our visits to Grey-Skull , you have to , " Earn the right to play , .. " , is , I believe , the expression . He didn't fancy it , in truth . No biggy , like , but he'll have to toughen up a bit if he wants to play for Everton . We have a few games like that .

- A match fit - Jags does .
Fact .

Alright guys I'm here to give you your fix. These are our(Galaxy) highlights so far. Mind you we don't play the most stylish soccer in the MLS but we get it done.

Week 1 - New England Revolution at LA Galaxy

Week 2 - Chivas USA at LA Galaxy
P.S. this is our derby. They play in our stadium since they don't have their own. Just a shitty marketing ploy to steal Mexican fans from the Galaxy.

Week 3 - LA Galaxy at Houston Dynamo

All of this stuff is from the official MLS website(www.MLSsoccer.com). They even have a pay service so you can watch games live and I believe the archived games too. I hear the service is in HD and looks great.

We have been amazing so far. Our main striker Edson Buddle is on fire with 5 goals in 3 games. He is hopefully in a position to play himself into a spot with the US World Cup squad. It helps that he is on the same team as Donovan because a player's stock rises with the Nats if he plays well with Landy.

For anymore highlights just click a fixture on the schedule and there should be highlights for every game.

PLDD. Post Landon Donovan Disorder. My Doc says he's Holden the cure. I'm not so sure. He suggests I should take a dose of Howspectidore once weekly but it's just not the same. The pill isn't blue and mostly fails to satisfy my illness. I know the only true cure and I'm afraid it won't be available soon enough.

That was probably Glenn Davis that he interviewed with.

Unfortunately, I had to miss the Dynamo vs. Galaxy match due to charitable event commitments. From all accounts, we didn't play all that great and again, made stupid mistakes to allow the Galaxy to score.

It's gonna be a long season for the Dynamo.

Oh, and yeah, I do miss Landon but I think we'll get him back at some point.
