Ps - I was out in Woolton last night and was drinking next door to the Liberty Tavern. It deffo wasn't in there, so I think the lads saying it was in town are right.

Same thing nearly happened to me a good few years back in the grapes on Matthew street, lad palmed a pint glass by his side from the moment he called me over for a 'chat' about talking to some girl he had his eye on, thankfully @MickA clocked him and grabbed his arm before the lad could send me to casualty. Close run thing though

Thats my mates bar. Normally there isn't much trouble in there.

The sad thing is it could have happened in any bar in the city. When I have seen Joey Barton in there he is surrounded by his friends who act as minders to anyone who wants to speak to him. That is the way to stop this type of thing happening.
