Though Mirallas was MOTM for that first half alone, credit to Pennington who was obviously shaky to start with but settled well, he'll get some great experience over the next month or so.

....noticeable how Schneiderlin sat almost in the back four after their 2nd goal and Barry did the same when he came on. RK appears uncomplicated, he brought in a CB for a CB and reinforced the defence today after a shaky start. Still bewildered how he got it so wrong at Anfield.

Lots of good performances, Gueye must be an absolute nightmare to play against but Barkley was in the mood and he's a joy to watch in that form.
