My great great grandfather was a branch union leader on the docks back in the day and had his dinner on one of the clock faces before it was raised into place. I resent the fact this civic asset is "owned" by any one man.
Dave's unhappy about something.

Technically it's owned by a group of men. However I'm sad upon realising the Royal Liver Insurance, who owned the building previously, have been swallowed up by a lousy cockney firm.

The picture of that is in this thread David

as a non-Scouse, how close is this building to the new dock-side stadium?

as i watched the horribly mismanaged downtown Tucson evolve from a place that had a bunch of office by day, and at night a few dive bars, on old concert venue and the still hip Hotel Congress (where Dillinger was caught) into what is now a destination with craft breweries, hip and trendy bars and restaurants, have to wonder if Mosh has a similar vision.

not only build the club up, but build up a part of the city to make everything more attractive to all involved.

amusingly seemingly opposite how the neighbors have acted in regards to the area around their stadium.
