Might be getting a bit giddy, but it aint a huge stretch of imagination to see huge Mosh/USM/Arsenal Bloke sized finger prints all over the north end of this dock development is it?

Almost like some folk had nattered about it over a vodka or pale ale for a while....

Just think for a second.

How would this place react/feel if in the last few weeks, that lot had got a ground sort of sorted on the docks, then their owners bought the Liver Building, with apparently their offices being in it. Certainly associated with them anyrate.

Then take a sip of tea, ale, rum.

Then realise THAT is what Mr Moshiri appears to have pulled off. In about 12 months. (Give or take a few years before we all knew like).

Then think of West Ham, and their negotiators extrodinaire, the Dildo Twins and Dame Kazza Baddly. Saddled their lot with a ground they hate, with a name they cant control, but, hey, they get a few bob from the naming rights.

Anyrate, that massive stand near Stanley Park is something eh? Like, really, really something else.

it is indeed bigger news than initially thought.

it hopefully makes them lot feel 2nd rate to us moving forward.

any red that says they are not bothered by all these developments are quite obv lying!

Spoke to my old man earlier, Blue, happened to work in the place with Adam and Eve.

"He has only gone and bought the Liver Building Dad"

"Christ, this fella aint mucking about is he?"

Knows his onions my old man, big time.

I'll be impressed when he buys the pit and razes it to the ground!!!
Seriously though what a great idea. Well done Moshiri. Paint them birds royal blue!!!!

My great great grandfather was a branch union leader on the docks back in the day and had his dinner on one of the clock faces before it was raised into place. I resent the fact this civic asset is "owned" by any one man.

But it isnt. Or wont be.

Actually, who owned it before? LCC, or Pru or some other insurance company?
