Lookman before calvern all day for me .if lookman fit he should have come on much more threat than cavern. Still can't get me head round Ron bringing kev off, but all round can't complain .I think the ref was a little bias .

Kev had been booked, and when that happens there's always the possibility that he will get a second yellow.

But I liked his aggression and his direct running through their midfield and at their defence. And heading off with the ball at the drop-ball situation in the second half and having a posse of angry ManUre players after him! We need more of that kind of aggression if we are to step up a level or two - the others do it...

Someone mentioned earlier that Barkley slowed down when he had defenders in front of him. Someone really needs to coach him properly: get him to pass quicker rather than doing fancy twists and turns, and to accelerate when confronted by defenders, not slow down. Watch those players at the top of their game and see what they do around the edge of the penalty area and inside - Messi, Ronaldo, Hazard, Suarez. They accelerate and put the fear of God into defenders. Slowing down, as Ross did several times last night, is a defenders dream - they want attackers stationery to make their job easier, and to give time to colleagues to get back and into defensive shape.

In those positions Ross got into you've just to have to keep going at least try and get into the box at least you might get a pen .Any way all said and done great effort from the lads .COYB.

Satisfied with 1 point, albeit the late equaliser.
7th place IS our target for this season, considering our injuries, depth of squad and how poor we were last season.

So so frustrating. In isolation, a draw at old Trafford is a decent result and I'm sure a fair few of us would have taken that before kick off, but not in those circumstances.

We had a game plan, sit back and soak up pressure and hit them on the break when their fullbacks have pushed up and left space. In general it worked and we played it well. Koeman tried to add the extra body up front to help hold the ball up but it didn't really work - although Calvert Lewin was fouled several times which the ref (who was shocking) didn't give so they maintained the pressure which eventually led to the penalty.

I'm still positive. Considering they brought on pogba and that bloke who's name I can't spell on in the 2nd half compared to our 2 youngsters, we defended admirably and more than matched them, we just missed that extra something on the counter attack.

Got to beat Leicester this weekend now

This again shows how little many fans and commentators actually know about rules. Yesterday our finnish commentator was like "oh, thats so oo clear offside"

It was same thing with the insident earlier this season where player passed ball back to his keeper with thigh...whole stadium was demanding a foul
The replay on my coverage didn't show the offside incident in line, but Ibra seemed to be leaning towards the
goal and my judgement is that his head, at least, put him offside.

I've only seen the penalty incident twice and I could be wrong, but I thought Ash' was trying to head the ball.

I don't know why Kev' was taken off and I'm going to watch the last 20 minutes or so again later to try to fathom
it all.

A decent point in the context of the season but an awful one in the context of the night. Ugh.

On the plus side, if United can almost screw it up against us they're well capable of doing the same (and worse) in the rest of the season so there's still a slim possibility of 6th, which would represent a massive improvement from last year.

I don't think RK is under any illusions about the thin-ness of the squad so the odd delusional post-match interview like Saturday's shouldn't push him too far towards Bobby-style madness.

And to all those responding to last night's cruel twist with "Everton, that", remember we did exactly the same to United at Goodison in the autumn.

He was leaning forward and his head and shoulders were in an offside position, but his feet and legs were definitely onside. I agree that Williams looked like he was trying to head the ball, but it struck his arm, so a definite penalty. Red card may be harsh as I didn't think there was intent, but then again, Williams didn't argue it, so maybe he did intend it and tried to disguise it?
I'm still trying to wonder where the ref got 4 minutes of added time though
