Ronald Koeman discussion

Where was Lukaku in that game?
It's not all down to Koeman either, I just don't think he believes in this team in the big games and he sees the players more than we do so he must have a better understanding of them than us.
He said yesterday that he didn't know why the players are scared going out - if you're right then maybe it's because the manager shows no faith in them and picks ultra conservative tactics against decent opposition?

It was a gamble playing Pennington in order to play his preferred system. So far this season the youth have been excellent. Getting 4 injuries in internationals before a derby was unforeseeable. The gamble didn't pay off. I wouldn't read too much into this. Actually not reading much into this season. We've been impressive in periods but only when we've had nothing to play for. Most pressure matches we've been poor. Still think we're moving forward and Koeman has impressed me.

I must be right Dave, go on, say I'm right. :D

I would of swapped dcl for mirrallas myself. If they players weren't bothered they all need binning
Yeah I agree mirllas should have started, he always loves these kind of games and he did well when he came on. To be honest mate i'm just fed up with this always happening.

Remember when Lukaku had long hair and he went it for headers and we were gonna out pass the opposition and live forever?

Oh Everton why doth thou forsake me?

Sell him to PSG.

Back when he had to prove he was good enough to play regularly after Clarke had him as supersub at WBA. As soon as he got his feet under the table here the big I am was out running his mouth off and considering himself too good to close down, head stuff, or have a decent first touch.

He'd be so easy to hate if he didn't score so many.
