It would help a lot if horses could talk. You could ask them how they are getting on.

Well, GT, I just don't feel like it today OK and I hate Southwell for some reason. I'm only human.

Appears to be bang up to date as far as I can see. The search engine still appears to have the latest data, which for me is the most important thing as I can pull the data from it to see how what recent results have been vs the long term averages, so giving an idea of the current variance.

Yes I had a look, and they appear to have updated results. Unfortunately the database isn't as good, as you can't run general queries, but fair play to someone for updating it.

I'm not liking the way that Definitely Red has been backed into to favouritism for the Grand National. It could be a bad 7 days for us if we lose the derby then a week later the RS make a [Poor language removed] load of cash on that as blues surely wont be backing it.

Annoyingly it's one of my 2 fancies, the other being Vieux Lion Rouge which I think means The Red Lion, so an all red National for me :blush:

I will probably back both but not for much money. I remember Red Marauder winning the National, mainly because I had a £20 free win bet on Smarties at 25/1 that looked like winning :rant:

..daft as it sounds, I never back a horse with red in its name. I'm on a few at fancy prices already, the shortest price I have is 20-1 on Blaklion. I'm going on Thursday so looking forward to seeing the declarations. The Foxhunter is interesting, I was all over Dineur last year @ 50-1 and it led over the last only to be collared by the short priced favourite on the run in. Dineur is currently declared.

..it is Matey. We've been going the Queen Mother Stand for many years on the Thursday. Fantastic racing and not quite as busy as the other days. We go the BRNESC afterwards to let the traffic get away. Friday and Saturday are full afternoons in the pub watching the racing. Love this time of year.
