I have no objection to either of them being in our squad but nor would I shed any tears if they left.

You cant have someone down as being easily worthy of inclusion in our first team for stuff he did 3 years ago. He has had chances since then and has by and large been anonymous.

You could say that about anyone in the squad barring a handful like Lukaku , Gueye and Barkley.

Deulofeu at Everton right now is like giving donkeys strawberries.
 

Would like to see him back and played in the position we've used Lookman, Mirallas and Calvert-Lewin, kind of on the left side but floating. If you could get 60 minutes out of him then bring someone else on it would be ok. As I have said before the more different types of players you have the more options you have. Deulofeu can either play RW and cross in for Lukaku or play just off him. Unfortunately his lack of stamina will probably mean Koeman will never trust him.
 

Watched the highlights

First goal he gives the ball away and then the French player makes a hash of it and passes it back to deulofeu, he does a stevie Gerard stardive and goes down and gets a soft pen.

Second goal he just runs onto a great pass and sidefoots it in from 5 yards. Hits it low and hard at the keeper but still goes in.

ive seen niasse get abused for scoring similar type goals but when geri does it he gets praised

no, but i remember Spanish Ged blowing out of his arse after 50 minutes on more than one occasion last season, one in particular at the etihad shortly after missing an absolute sitter to put us back in front in the league cup semi. LAD

Naahh.. Del isn't good enough for us now. He won't be back..
 
Anyone who says he isn't good enough for Everton are a bit simple in my book.

He is class, raw and with a questionable desire, but class. With the right coaching and man management he will be amazing. I just know he will end up somewhere else tearing it up and we will be all sat here wondering 'what if'.

I know he has had a couple of chances but he did no worse than Mirallas/Barkley who are both now proving their worth and showcasing their true ability more consistently. I think Del could do the same at Everton I love him.
 
He's not a premier league player. The romanticism surrounding this lad is utterly baffling given his diabolical fitness levels, his very very questionable attitude, his mental fragility and his frightening lack of end product. People call him world class. Well he says he's a striker and went a calender year without a goal. If he ever becomes anything more than an extremely bit part squad player for us then we will have regressed sharply.

The timid, non contact, laborious slow style of serie A suits him to the ground. I'm not saying it's a worse league, but it's very very different, and success there means precious little as far as Koeman will be concerned.
