Seamus Coleman

Just finished playing footy to hear this news. Absolutely gutted, one of my favourite players.

Was the tackle that bad? I'm always hesitant to place the blame on things like this as I can't be having the fact a professional footballer would go out to ruin another lad's career.

Yes, very bad.

Well f..k me - do we EVER catch a break?

Now the gobs..tes are going to have a field day aren't they? They never seemed to be minus any critical players for the Derby.

Premier League footballers are made of strong stuff these days, particularly with the level of sports science and professionalism in the game. Added to the fact Seamus is a beast, let's look forward to welcoming him back. David Boost style injuries don't necessarily have to be career ending any more. My concern is for his career rather than Everton's well being. We've got the back up, but Seamus is a special player - certainly one of my favourites - I hope we see him back in an Everton shirt, marauding forward in his swashbuckling manner.

Realistically I can't imagine Williams has had any idea of the extent, when he was moaning about the card.

That injury is shocking for anyone who saw it on TV, let alone the players who then saw it up close, and then even more so for Williams who actually knows and works with the lad.

People understandably looking for someone to direct anger at.

All the best Seamus.
