Which is exactly where he should be...

That's his position.

He clearly isn't an out and out winger.

He's a second striker. He's started well for us.

I don't think he'll start against Spurs but if he does I hope it's not on the left. That's clearly not his best position.

He is clearly expected to come wide too.

The point is that he wasn't offering options. Even if he was a second striker being stood next to Rom is pointless.

The lad has a lot of talent but was dreadful on Saturday

Show ignored content, quite simple really. principled is not what you are being. youre getting the hump because you're convinced you know at least 50% of the reserves are going to be superstars. Which is bollocks. So not a whole lot to learn from you I don't think.

So you're not really ignoring me then are you?

Ignoring me would be not clicking that, so surely you think what I have to say has some worth otherwise you just wouldn't read it?

You really are a book of contradictions

Anyway, we're off topic again

@Azzurri I'll reply to you in another thread mate, for the same reason

Having you on ignore is patently a different thing so now I have the freedom of choosing whether I view the bed wetting drivel you post. And heaven forfend we went off topic.

I really don't think he was 'dreadful'

He looked sharp in and around the box, as he always does.

Needs to improve his all-round game but that will only come with minutes.

I dont think he was dreadful either but think he should be coming on from the bench at the minute rather than starting. Would like to see him coming on at 60 mins against tiring opposition who haven't seen much of him. The lad is clearly a talent and imagine he has played more already than he thought he would. Needs to be a little bit stronger on the ball but sure that will come when Ross gives him his weights program from last year!!

The level of the Premier League is a huge step up from League 1 so please have a word with yourselves before slagging the guy off. Not going to be stellar every week.
He has that something about him that will make him a very good player for Everton in the seasons to come.

Young attacking players and consistency are 2 things that rarely go together.

He had an off game and he'll have plenty more of them as he continues his developement.
There's definitely great potential there, give him time and patience and that consistency will come :)
