For me it really depends on the price of Rooney.

I'd personally easily have him over Mirallas in terms of his work rate (which would fit well in Koeman's system), goalscoring, and his general play.

If he was going to cost £15m and £100k pw I'd be all over it though. Even if it's two seasons of him it would be worth it.

Jose's comments about not standing in his way if he wanted to go to China were odd. Well he is behind Zlatan, Martial and Rashford in the pecking order. They have absolutely no need for Rooney anywhere near their squad, and nor should any ambitious club in England. Rooney isn't a role model, he's a money grabber who held United to ransom years ago and would do it again if he had the chance. I bet Jose can't wait to see the back of him.
