He looks young but that's nothing to do with how he plays. He was better than Mirallas today who's 10 years older than him.

Well I hold my hand up, I thought it would be 12 months at least before we really got to see what this kid can do. Can't judge properly of course on the basis of 30 minutes football, but there's an inkling of a hope here that this could be a sensational signing for us. Speaks volumes that Koeman was happy to splash out so much money, and to throw him into action so soon ahead of a seasoned international (Valencia).

No he wasn't. Nice footwork and link up once with Rom but faded in that cameo.

What impressed me about him was his strength, a couple of times they tried to nudge him off the ball and he just shrugged them off. Only little but a lot stronger than he looks.

Love that he'll get stuck in. Flair players usually won't or can't do much of the battling needed. He showed he was happy and able to battle. Sterling who he seems similar in build to always looks like he's dealing with a turd filled nappy when trying to defend.

Months more than years, he's just made the step up from League One and while he does not look overawed with the change, he is still adapting.

He is Magic though and full of promise.

Showed what he's all about today with how he came across fearless and wanting the ball constantly. Liked that he could battle too and get stuck in.

In the time Koeman has been here it's proved that he's a difficult man to please, and with his comments this week about him and giving him two appearances off the bench in the two matches he's been eligible shows that we've got a real talent here.
