I expect wingers to be hit and miss, it's what they do, but Geri is more frustrating than most.
Today, he scared them to death and they had to double up on him, which made space for him to play some lovely passes into.
But so often he's not delivering going forward. If, on those days, he could stop acting like a petulant nine year old, knuckle down and do his bit for the team, I'd love to see him stay here.
I'm not convinced on that though. He thinks he's better than he actually is and needs to start to understand that he keeps getting dropped by various managers for a reason, and that reason is mostly between his ears.
I really want it to click with him and see him terrorising defences for us, but I suspect he'll never change.

Couldn't get to the ground so all of seen is the goal but maybe it was enough to keep him as a bench option for a bit? How did he do otherwise?
I think we are better when he plays, at least he offers creativity. The number of goal assists he has is amazing.
The team is built around Lukaku, he scores goals but goes through some games as if sleepwalking.
If a team can be built around a centreforward that doesn't want to work I don't see why it could not be tweaked a little more to fit in Deulofeu.
I would like to see Barkley play deeper and take on more defensive duties which he is well able to do as well as driving forward from deeper positions, this would allow Del to play a more central role at no. 10

Squad player at best. Most of my past conquests would batter him and are less feminine(might say more about me than him tbh). Undoubted skill, might do well in one of those hipster leagues where they're too cool to tackle
