Tim Cahill and Nigel Martyn for me.I think Marcus Bent was one of his more underrated signings. He was not a 20 plus goal a season. But he gave it his all and he was a very useful player for us in that season we came fourth.Moyes had his faults but he knew quality when he saw it.

Don't really get the shouts for Martyn tbh. Yeah was a good keeper for a year or two - but ahead of someone like Baines? No contest.

Baines for me but a list of amazing signings and you could make a compelling argument for them all. Credit where it's due, Moyes managed to pull off some amazing signings given the budgets available.

For me it's a hard choice between Arteta, Cahill and Seamus.

Arteta was £2m, our best player, gave us the best years of his career, and then was sold for £10 million.

Cahill was £1.5m, a fantastic player who really 'got' Everton, and left on good terms for £1m.

Seamus cost 60k, has become one of the best RB in the league, is rightfully being touted as a potential captain, and if sold would command a significant fee.

Gone for Coleman just because of the outstanding value and potential to be an even better buy than he already is.

Honourable mentions for Pienaar, Jags, Baines and Pienaar. Got to give Moyes his dues, was incredible in the transfer market.

Stones was pretty good for us, joined us, bought us a load of excitement in an era of disappointment then left for vast sums of money. Basically another Lescott.. Still Baines for me though.
