Still having the same debate about him 3 yrs later. Flash in the pan moments of brilliance massively outweighed by general nothingness.

Osasuna awaits.

Indeed.

Del's performance against Watford was second only to Stek at City as the best performance from an Everton player this season IMO.

His absence on the pitch since that game is further evidence that players like Del whom capture the Cavalier essence of Everton Football Club have no place among Ronald's Roundheads.

Or as Francis Rossi and the late, great Rick Parfitt once put it......"There ain't no room for a cultured cowboy in a town like New Orleans" :pint2:

I'm like you. I pine for a bit of flash and flair at Goodison. I liked having Limpar. He could play. Kanchelskis excited for the 5 minutes he was here. Way back Duncan MacKenzie was around when I was a little kid. I can't remember Alex Young but everyone says he was fabulous when the mood took him.

We are no longer the School of Science. We are now mere lower class roundheads. The Dogs of War. So far have the once mighty fallen.

He more hard working but not productive not having .

He bends them in everywhere, but our plodders in midfield never get in the box unless they have a nose bleed!
Putting crosses into empty areas of the box is his speciality. Occasionally he'll miss hit one and find one of our players.

Also struggles to beat a man Del is not perfect, but tbh we have more aging deadwood than him to get rid of - I feel he and RK have had words RK seems to pick on the likes of Ross and Geri while older players plod around!

Feel free to get rid of as many of the other deadwood as you can.

Be our guest.

You cant sell what cant be sold.
