It's purely a confidence thing, I can't stress enough how important confidence is for players, some more than others, Ross is a confidence player, that needs differing tactics than blowing him off in public. He would shine with a good man manager, not Martinez who mollycoddled him and did him no favours.

I don't think any one approach to a lad of Barkley's fragility is any more valid than the next tbh. Didn't he have his best prolonged spell under Roberto?

I suppose Inter are fast becoming the Everton of Milan. I reckon Del could have a good 4 months there before they sideline him with attitude problems.

Watched a video of all last seasons goals, del setup so many.

Best winger we have, just needs consistent game time which he won't get under koeman and thus he'll be sold.

Just imagine last season if someone had said we'll sign bolasie and get rid of del, crikey.

I would be very disappointed to see the back of Del! He has been (at times) the best winger on display and had shown with a run of games how incisive he can be. Would be short sighted to let him go when time and effort could bring out greater consistency.

Telling me Lookman is better than Del? We'll see.
