Should EFC start to utilise blue liverbird?

Kenwright and Elstone wrote a letter to the European courts which said we don't want it or ever will...... effectively blocks Everton ever trying to claim it again.

This was in the accounts in 2014 I thought everyone was aware of this? think they charged Liverpool £100k.

I'm sure there was a vote on it to grasp opinion on the official site....something like 600 votes to 130.

Also Everton FC started from a Methodist church called St Domingos, which is in the district of Everton. Everton the district is basically Liverpool city centre, or at least part of the City centre. They decided to change the name from St Domingos so the team would make more appeal to the wider community and they decided on Everton FC. Prince Ruperts tower stood next to the toffee shop which has already been mentioned in a few posts.
Prince Ruperts tower is also a grade 2 listed building, which means basically it can't be touched without going through all kinds of planning permission etc.
I think you can safely say that Everton FC have a great heritage and history of which all fans can be proud.

I'm not serious in chasing the use of the birds on Everton merchandise but 600 to 130 is a joke vote and in no way representative

Like it or loathe it, as far as football goes the Liver Bird image is now subconsciously associated with our noisy neighbours so I think we should just concentrate on us.

yes lets concentrate on us and getting the maximum out of the potential that we have as a club. they are laughing into their beards when we let them be the privilidged club in the city of liverpool.
 
We could get Candy or Crown paints to sponsor us and build a Kop in our new stadium as well while were at it hey, that'd be boss that.

I think it would feel like Everton trying to copy their image. Even if they are equally as entitled I think it's way too late to do it.
 
Lads, why are we called Everton? We should be called 'The proper club in Liverpool we were here first and this isn't just an argument started by pedantic bores FC'?
