Was excellent. Game changed when his replacement had to come on
Agreed, he has put in a few really good performances and we lost the middle when he got injured, though they did raise the bar in the second half. I fear he will be a player who suffers a cycle of getting into form and then hitting a set back. Feel little sympathy for modern PL players, but he's one I want to hug, unlucky lad.

Actually played very well tonight. Thought he received too much credit against Arsenal but he did more in that first half tonight than all of the last game. Such a minor challenge to take him out too, Everton that.

him and Coleman were the best players on the pitch by a mile that first half as well. Looked like he's decided to finally find his balls again and was getting proper stuck in with a bit of snide which we've been missing. Finally looking like the player he was 2 years ago and then goes and gets injured

...I fear those hamstrings will dog his career. It's something that needs to be factored into where his future lies. Normally it's explosive sprinters who eventually succumb, he's not that type but once you get that scar tissue they'll pop again. Remember Snodin converting to RB and being on the verge of England when his went and he always struggles after that.

Got to look at the bigger picture, one swallow and all that...over a long stretch of games, he is either injured or just back from an injury or just not very good....get what we can for him asap
