I thought he was noticeably better on the ball tonight. Won a crucial free kick up the field to relieve pressure. But will have to play extraordinary every week now if he is going to have a longer stay here

I really think he has to now. Fingers xd. I would be surprised if he breaks up tonights midfield pairing for monday. Barry would get pulled apart by the red midgets flying around the place. Mccarthy and gana will hammer tackles into them.

Nope. Average at best. Someone make a video of all his touches and his lack of marking and constant pointing is pathetic.

There was even a huge groan when he did his usual bottle job and went backwards from an attacking position

He was as sloppy as anyone in the first 20 mins but he put a shift in and unsettled a few of there players and dare I say tried to drive forward in the 2nd half. There were moments of his 1st season with us.

I was fuming at him for that but overall he was one of the keys in our pressing play that got us back into the game.

Barry is class, but he can't do it. McCarthy showed he could step up. The issue is now, can he do it consistently.
