We probably need both mate. Yes, the squad is rubbish, but this is a manager who hasn't acted to freshen things up and punish underperformance.

I've been in the camp of letting him bring in his own players and give him a chance to turn it. The issue is you lead by example. Koeman hasn't showed much desire or passion, and as you say with the current crop of players, he could at least blood the younger players in an effort to punish the older players who quite frankly, appear spineless. Either way, a complete makeover is needed, as the past three years have shown we're in quite a decline at the moment.
