Another Dutchman of Koeman's confidence? I've seen this story before ...
We stopped signing with a proven goalkeeper at PL (Hart) to sign a Dutchman who was a reserve at Fullham and Southampton (Stekelenburg), and the result is there.
Also, Depay is an extremely individualistic player with a bad mentality, you will not want to play for the team, just for yourself.
Not to mention that he has not shown anything in PL yet, I prefer to give opportunities to Deulofeu or to test other formations.

Seems like this may happen. I've watched Depay in most of the games he's played for United and haven't been impressed. He's fast and very physically imposing. He's very greedy and has poor decision making and when he does make the right decision it doesn't always come off. He does seem to have a crap attitude too. Of the United players who can play on the left up front he's easily fourth in my opinion -- Rashford > Martial > Lindgard >>> Depay so its no surprise he's not played much. On "potential" he's higher, but I'm not sure he has the mentality to realize that potential.

I'd be open to a loan with a set buy-out option, but on a permanent deal it would be very risky and more likely than not to dissappoint.

Would any of you willing to spend at least £30m on him? The fact that you spent £25m on Bolasie makes me think that Memphis Depay should be higher. And also the market nowdays has changed a lot as well.
In my opinion Memphis playing style is like Bolasie. Skillful, strong, love to make long shoot, and his decision making is poor. But Memphis is obviously more favourable than Bolasie since he's younger and still developing and also proven to scored a lot of goals with PSV. I think Everton will be a good club for him as he will get more chance than at United. He is still 22 and just needs more times to show what he can do.

Talking about another United players are linked with Everton. I had an argument with some Everton folks in the summer windows last time on this forum that they aren't willing to spend £30m on Juan Mata and I bet those guys are now regretting for saying that :D I just hope this Memphis Depay discussion isn't becoming another argument like last time :p

30m err no mate, he's flopped at United and failed outside of Holland, you bought form with potential, we'd just be buying potential. 20m I'd be surprised if anyone pays over that, United traditionally lose lots of money on players they sell who have failed there.
