Agree with this. The manager, the coaching staff, the player, everyone who works at the club is hired on the basis of their ability to do their specific job. That isn't to say that the culture of the club will rub off on them. "When touched by Everton.."..etc. However, there is an issue of passion here. Passion for the job. A passion for success. It is an issue in all walks of life. There are those that turn up for the pay check and nothing else, and there are those who push that little harder and over achieve. The question really should be: Who are the over-achievers at Everton and who just do the minimum? The concern right now is that there are too many of the latter, and the feeling is the manager might be in the latter group as well. Although, personally, I think it still too early to decide that judgement yet.Koeman wants to win every game, hes a winner, he doesnt want to win for Everton, he wants to win for his own self interests, he shares our goals, to be successful, not cos he wants to end our trophy drought, but cos he wants to use us a stepping stone.
Whats the issue, he wants the same thing as us, he just has a different motive.
