For the uneducated amongst you, Ian Brown was the lead singer of The Stone Roses. And if you've never heard of them then what have you been doing with your life?! One of the best British bands ever imo. (y)

my lad went last nite , in nwcstl i think . said it was kick arse . i sed i saw stone roses at spike island , and at the royal court in 94 , secong coming , which was one of the top 5 gigs ive ever seen , and im super-cool dad . he said i make his toes curl . go figure . anyway youll have a boss nite . lcab (y)

Just got back. Was friggin class!

And he threw me his harmonica!!!!

We were stood right at the front on the barrier and during the first song he kept coming over to us and I was singing along. Then at the end of the song he walked over to us again, pointed at me and chucked me the harmonica! Thankfully I'm quite a good catch so I grabbed hold of it and pocketed it! Quality night
