haha this is great from Ronald, not sure if he did actually thrown out the old fishing line but he certainly hooked a few whoppers.

The trolls on twitter are just a small reflection from the worse of our fan base and im sure he knows that.

As I said before I think most of the fans will have an opinion of him already that ranges from not arsed/meh to he is a complete tit/hate him and everywhere in between. His actions, tweets and press conferences all obviously help to feed that opinion alongside the important stuff on the pitch. And this is only a few months in.

I could be proven wrong but if we do have the crap December some fans fear then some fans will call for his head already and the atmosphere will worsen at Goodison.

At that point I think it could be said that he had done nothing to get and keep the fans on side with him and shield him from the sad abuse that will come.

I think that we will park the bus a bit in these coming games though and try to counter and might actually do a bit better than expected so a poisonous January can be avoided.

I try not to be a judgemental person but fgs...

He hardly tweets.

What went on today is harmless. It's reactions like this - spurred on from the media - that don't help the situation.

And we already have fans calling for his head anyway... after 13 games.

That sums up the modern football fan and, seemingly (despite the fact we've had no success in 21 years so why are we suddenly so entitled(?) the modern Evertonian (obviously, not all of us)...
