    Last year, we had 20 points and a goal difference of +8.

    This year, we have 19 points and a goal difference of +1.

    I just looked this up as someone offered me a ticket for the Soton game, which I had to turn down, but even that decision was oddsed by "how boring we are" at the moment.

    Considering that RK enjoyed the best ever start to a league campaign, it's not so much the wheels coming off, as the bloody axles. You'd hope that serious questions are being asked about the lack of progress.

    Have discussed this with a couple of blues, and in Roberto's defence, at least we looked like we had some goals in us last year. This year initial defensive solidity has waned and there seems to be very, very little in attack.

    The board should really be making some noises about progress in my opinion. As others have commented, we somehow seem to have travelled back in time to Walter's final two seasons. A mirage of defensive solidity and fcuk-all in the final third.

    Ronald. This is fjcuking Sh1te man.

Right, so you can provide some sort of evidence of this?

Cos I only recall him playing RB.

He moved to centre back quite a few times during his career and it was noted that he would have been a CB but for his height...heres ferguson;

Ferguson said: "There are two parts to Gary. He was a determined, energetic centre-back in the youth team of 1992 and played centre-back all the way through.

"It was obvious to us height was going to be a problem in terms of having a career at centre-back. That's when we started to alter his role to right-back.

"In those days he wasn't the best crosser of the ball, he wasn't the best passer of the ball but by his own determination and practice, as he did every day, he improved all that.

"He made himself a top player. I couldn't see him being a real top player when he came. Then in the latter part he was. Eighty-five caps for England and 602 games for us is testimony to that."
