lolWhat are you talking about Gerry, you're second in the league

IMO only 4 senior pros shouldn't be binned off before next season.. Williams, Geuye, Bolasie and Lukaku, 3 of which Koeman brought in..
Manager is largely irrelevant, discuss in relation to table below.
You maybe right. He can't tackle nor has the workrate to play CM unfortunately.
yes , but HK did not have the funds we were skint he had spent a bit it had all gone - Morishi reported to have a 100 billion transfer budget it was sell to buy again I look at RK and he looks like he wishes he never came here, and wants out, and is doing his best to force Morishis hand in January, tbh The monies spent on compensation for RK and the departure of RM is mind blowing - also the blues stuck with HK as he was a blue!If we Evertonians had been as impatient and as petulant in the early 1980s as we are today, Howard Kendall would have been shown the door before he could win anything at all. We didn't once finish in the top 6 during Kendall's first three seasons as manager.
Rebuilding squads takes time. It took Martinez several years to turn us into a regular bottom half side; it could take Ronald even longer than that to make us great again. We will get there eventually, though. Our new manager is a proven winner.
Keep the faith.

And that in a nutshell is the only criticism I can hit Koeman with.
Why on earth didn't he bring in someone creative?
Glad it's not just me who's been massively underwhelmed by Williams.Williams has been poor, it's amazing he gets away with the performances he's been putting in while Jags is getting slaughtered for the same thing
Gueye started amazing and then has gone off the boil completely - possibly back to his normal level
Bolasie is everything he was at Palace. Unpredictable, who is not a prolific with assists or goals. At the minute it seems like Everton have gambled massively on this lad being able to make a step up and it's just not happening.
Lukaku is poor at the minute but I'd defo want to keep him, but can't see that happening to be fair.
I think you've been harsh on Coleman, very often he's the only one seems to actually care what's happening.
I'd also want to keep Barkley. I thought he started positively yesterday, but quickly faded as the movement off the ball at Everton is shocking.
Koeman has a massive job to do, and I think questions are already starting to be asked about him. He would often go on these runs with no wins at Southampton but would turn them around and they'd pick up wins to climb back up. But he inherited a young side built by Pochetino who were very organised and hard working. Here he's inherited the complete opposite and the job is a massive one.
I'd imagine he has crossed off a lot of names from the squad and the list to move on will be huge now. I just hope the club can move a lot of them on (given Martinez/the club gave some ridiculous contracts) and we can bring in some genuine quality.
I know people say Barry plays well etc. but I can't help but think that if we had genuine quality in the centre of midfield then the players around them would improve as a result.
The current spine of the team lacks pace and workrate.

But imo it will be a travesty if this lad doesn't get at least 15/20 games in centre midfield. Considering McCarthy & cleverly have had plenty of games there.
Of the top of my head I can think of 5 games he's played in centre midfield. The derby 3 yrs ago, after baines went off and Barry went to left back. Had an excellent game, and still one of his best performances. Which is quite sad 3yrs on.
Towards the end of that season when we we beat Arsenal 3-0. He played in a left side midfield role alongside Barry and McCarthy. While he wasn't brilliant, he did have a very good disciplined game.
I think it was the very next game, we lost to palace 3-2. But Ross was the one player who was driving us on. Especially in the last 20mins at 3-1 down. Had a hand in our 2nd goal. Set up a great chance for mirralas. And forced the keeper into a great save.
The following season the QPR I know it's only QPR. But he have a good game alongside besic.
And towards the end of last season the game at old Trafford. Barry was out abd Martinez played him infront of the back 4. And he had a very poor game.
Maybe going to a back 3 and play him and gana infront. Worth a try imo. I've never thought he was a number 10

IMO Williams has been our best player defensively by a distance, the incompetence of others has made it hard for him to stand out, defence is about the unit as a whole and I think he will grow into a really solid CB for us as we improve as a unit and add new faces.
In my eyes, Gueye's job is to cover ground, turn over possession and give it simple to a creative player which stats show he is one of, if not the best at this in the league this season. But due to the other players not doing their job Gueye has had to try turn provider, run at the oppositions defence and get into goal scoring positions at times which isn't his game. He has gave the ball away, been caught in possession and missed sitters but at least he has the character to step up out his comfort zone and try and make something happen whilst others are hiding.
I don't know how people can criticise the likes of Bolasie and Lukaku, they rely on service which they have had very little of this year and have still managed to be one of the leagues most effective partnerships.
As for Coleman, we have had much worse performers, but to name them is stating the obvious so I looked at players we consider to be some of our best and Coleman IMO has been substandard this season. Poor defensively, and his final ball has also been poor.. on his day he's great but we haven't seen it enough, maybe he doesn't suit Koemans system.
Mate, Bolasie runs at you, your the defender, what do you think he's going to do? He'll roll the ball under his foot, toey it and run after it. Any defender worth his salt will have him taped in the tunnel. He'll only get past you if he catches you on the turn due to a counter. We struggle with him doing anything if we're building from the back cause their defence gets organised. He only seems capable of capitalising on the mistakes of others, not forcing them. Also, I'm fed up of watching him waiting for the ball to come to him, its grade one football. It looks like he works hard cause he's always chasing the balls he kicks.
Ah now its not really but some good points there.Chelsea are 1st, Liverpool are 2nd, united are 6th, Leicester 14th, West ham 16th, Sunderland 20th
so the irrelevant thing is a league table based on wage bills
