Ronald Koeman discussion

I think RL can play up front on his own, but needs good service from wide positions and through the middle.
He will score goals if given the right service, but if we are going to use him like a Old style centre forward we might as well sell him now....or play the second forward, which I don't think RK would sacrifice a holding midfielder for
Give him good service he will score
Hoof balls up to him and expect him to hold the ball up....no chance at all

A decision the manager needs to make...

Get a boss playmaker in the middle and Lukaku starts scoring for fun.

Understandable. Got nothing against Everton at all. You guys do have to realise though that you got Koeman because no other top 6 club wanted him and you were the ones who could throw the money at him when we chose not to. He's confirmed this in interviews since so it's not a case of equal terms being offered and him choosing you over us instead.

I'm fully aware we're a selling club and no I don't enjoy it. However players like van Dijk are fully out of our league as a club, therefore they'll move on to clubs with Champions League football, not a sideways or slightly inclined step. Koeman was evidently not out of our league and therefore moved to a team who are marginally better than ourselves. Players don't make sideways steps like these, Koeman did because you offered a lot more money and he couldn't agree terms with us going into his final year.

Anyway, apologies for starting on the wind-up. Enjoyed that a lot today!
Koeman would have never left a 6th placed Everton to join an 11th placed Southampton. No matter how much money was on the table

"Really poor start. We had some good chances to draw, @SouthamptonFC to kill the game in the 2nd half. Thanks for the big support again! #efc"

Get off Twitter you ginger bellend.

Chances to draw, is he deliberately trying to wind us up?!

If we Evertonians had been as impatient and as petulant in the early 1980s as we are today, Howard Kendall would have been shown the door before he could win anything at all. We didn't once finish in the top 6 during Kendall's first three seasons as manager.

Rebuilding squads takes time. It took Martinez several years to turn us into a regular bottom half side; it could take Ronald even longer than that to make us great again. We will get there eventually, though. Our new manager is a proven winner.

Keep the faith.

Love it... in his post .....' a more level headed Evertonian would fill me in' lol This kid is looking for trouble.
