Koeman is not at Southampton anymore, He's at Everton, We expect and demand more than Southampton, We are a bigger Club and we need a trophy to put a few of these southampton type clubs back in their place.

That's all is going on here on this board is Everton fans demanding more not because we are entitled because We know we deserve to be better than we are.

The argument here is the board has to provide fund for Koeman to buy a new team because the team he inherited was not as good as people think.

haha
slightly immature response mate.
which of those player judgements do you believe Zat is wrong about?
Come on, let's debate

All of those players he said we can make a profit one, we won't make a profit on any bar maybe Cleverley who might fetch £2m.

Koeman has inherited a difficult position here. Yes he has made mistakes but he has given the current squad a chance and he knows where we are weak now I suspect. Certain players are on borrowed time and I don't think everyone is pullling in the same direction. He has to maintain diplomacy. January is quite along time away. It's easy for us to slag every Tom dick and harry off but he can't because this is the players he has in the present.

Change of tack on Koeman: does he need a more attack minded coach in the set up to help him out? It was always said RM required a defensive coach to sort out the back four mess; the same could be said for RK at the other end of the pitch. Both he and his brother were defenders and I dont think they can get the job done going forward. I'm guessing that the only input they get off Duncan Ferguson is 'launch the ball up to Lukaku and get after the second ball'.

Was his failure/inability to bring Sammy Lee with him from Southampton a key mistake made here? We saw what happened to FDB at Inter shorn of Bergkamp and Staam to appreciate that breaking up a coaching team can be lethal. It wouldn't have bothered me at the time if Lee had arrived here as long as we benefitted. He's now available after the England job went west with Alardyce's sacking.

Here's what Koeman had to say about Lee last season:

"Being able to appoint Sammy Lee with the experience and background that he has as a player and a coach was a great opportunity. He has been a head coach, part of the England coaching squad, and was part of Rafael Benitez’s coaching team at Liverpool. He is very different from my brother and I, so is able to offer a different mentality and approach, and it means we have a broad mix of experience and perspectives in our coaching team".

Sammy Lee or someone else - it seems clear this management team need to widen their perspective if the imbalances that have occurred are going to be ironed out.

He said:

Can get our money back / Profit on

Cleverley
Rodriguez
Lennon
Tarashaj
Robles

TC - think he'd fetch £4 or £5million - look at what Ryan Mason went to Hull for
Rodriguez - bought for 'a reported fee of £500k'. No idea if we'd get that back for him but doesn't seem insurmountable
Lennon - around £4million wasn't it? He's 29 too I think? We would definitely claw back that money, especially from a Sunderland or a newly promoted team. Ross McCormack cost £11million quid!
Tarashaj - think I read £3million somewhere? Swiss international. Still in nappies. Of course we would recoup that money (if accurate)
Robles was bought for pennies wasn't he? £2.5 million? Easily recoup our money

What Zat said isnt outlandish at all.

Mori is a HIT if only for the £9.5mil turning into £15-20mil if we sell him (which i assume we will in the summer).

Mirallas (Moyes), Deulofeu, Cleverley and Lennon we should also make a profit on each (dont forget clev was free)....Bolasie would need to be another Kanchelskis for the money.

Sorry I thought we were deeming them a hit or miss by their performances on the field, silly me! You are playing fantasy manager again, no problem I understand now.

No, Koeman has played for some of the biggest clubs and under some great managers. He's played at the highest level possible, he has experience of the big stage.

He's 4 months into his job and is well aware that the front line aren't delivering. He'll make the necessary changes.

Martinez wouldn't accept we had a defensive issue, that's the difference

He needs help. In his own words he underlines that. More input is needed...that is as clear as day looking at the feeble attacking intent of his team.

We need an attacking coach into the club.

I cannot recall koeman saying he needs help, I've heard him say he's aware of the issue and players aren't doing what he wants
In his own words he values a coaching team that can offer a broad mix of perspective that he and his brother cant encompass on their own.

We know the attack is a problem. Koeman states that too. He needs help.

Didn't realise fat Sammy Lee was the orchestra of all things attacking at saints.

You're stretching dave, he's stated that there's an issue and he'll deal with it. Nothing else

You're nothing if not persistent Dave my mate
Well the attack is putrid, so there must be a reason for it. How much did Sammy Lee have an input into first team tactics adopted? It's a fair enough point to make and one that might explain how poor we've been going forward. Because I dont believe for a second that ferguson has anything to offer.
