Ronald Koeman discussion

I still cant work out what kind of system/style he is trying to implement.
I said this massively during the second half of Martinez's tenure. Because he was spouting absolute guff every time his mouth opened.

Koeman talks the talk with what he wants. And, yet, the TEAM let's him down time after time. And nothing happens. Same players play.

But I concur as well, no idea what the plan is. We have a damn near world class striker who will almost certainly score if we put the ball in front of him and yet we cross the ball in to the box with just one target and 3 opposition players covering.

Love to see him walk the walk occasionally to back this up. I remain sceptical about what he can achieve with us.

Some telling comments today on that Soccer Saturday programme (I know!) regarding the Lukaku situation and Koeman's words and Everton's general position in terms of spending. Basically a disbelief there's anything in the pot to spend and we're selling to buy under Koeman every bit as much as we were under Moyes and Martinez.

Like they'd know FFS

I think he's starring to realise how tough a job this is, especially given our ambitions. Koeman said recently that in football mangers are not given much time. I wonder whether this is playing on his mind.

I am disappointed he hasn't sorted out the problem that we can't have one decent 90 minutes of football. It's astonishing we are still in 7th, but again I have no idea what this means, whether things will get better when we do play a full satisfying 90 mins or whether it won't actually happen at all.

He was prone to these poor runs with Southampton, and whilst I am not happy with the manner of how we have accumulated our points, we are on target for the season. Given that three quarters of our squad needs binning and starting again, that's not to be frowned at.

I predict we'll get some fresh faces in January and pick up the level of performance. We should aim to be a bit more productive but as long as we are comfortably in 7th after the Christmas period there is reason to be more optimistic.

They're reading the signals from outside just like we are. And I concur with their conclusions. The cupboard is bare.
Less of the we.

The owner gave a live radio interview saying he'd spend, Koeman has just said "we'll bring players in in January"

Yet you're trusting Pinocchio and Champagne Charlie.

Or should I say they're telling you what you want to hear.

The worry is we're hitting a run of hard fixtures with Watford etc on our coattails.

The Chelsea game is a different league. The Swansea, Burnley games needed results
