I dont think its negative, we cant go 442 as Ross isn't defensive enough so that would leave Gana to cover the whole of the midfield by himself - the midfield would get over run. We would end up with 2 defensive minded CM's (McCarthy and Gana) plus 2 wingers which would be less creative than we are at the minute.
