Ross Barkley

Made up he scored, hes frustated me for weeks but it's extra special when he's had a good game (or 45 minutes) because you want him to succeed, being a local boyhood blue I only want him to be great, I suppose that's why he gets a harder time when he's not in form

Yet again, I found the attitude of some people towards Ross in the Park End today was a total embarrassment. After less than two minutes there was a loudmouth in the row behind me telling us all how bad a player Barkley is. When he was tackled unfairly and the ref gave us a free kick he blamed Ross for getting caught in possession. When he started and finished the move for the second goal he announced that Ross might turn into a footballer now that he had been lucky enough to score.
Words fail me.
Ross - you are a star. Ignore some of the morons who pay to sit and criticise you constantly.

Thought we'd seen the back of this clown tbh

Just how many chances is this fraudster going to be given? It's all very well binning the likes of jags and stek but koeman insists on bailing this waster out ???

Good evening Kevin.

I trust you'll be joining us some time this evening for a moments celebration of an Everton win and a fine performance from our number eight ?

:coffee:

Let him string together 4 or 5 performances in a row and then we're talking. Played well after the first 25 minutes no question.

You're a hard taskmaster with a touch of the Koeman about you. Still, fair play, you've found some positives from today, which is a step in the right direction ;)

  • Barkley has been involved in 19 Premier League goals since the start of last season (10 goals, nine assists). The only English midfielders with more are Dele Alli (22) and James Milner (21).

Gullit is bang on about Barkley.

He needs to do the basics week in week out and his talent will shine through.

All this Rooney talk is to light a fire under Barkley aswell imo
