I wouldn't, but if Walsh Davies and Dowell all make the breakthrough like they all look like doing Ross will need to pull the finger out.

Still think he will be a top player.

Has he though? Roy dropped him for ignoring instructions. Martinez let him play however he wanted and moyes was scared of using kids. That's only 3 managers.

Koeman has come in and is actually working with players. He has took rom aside and is making him better at the areas he should be improving in. He will do the same with Ross.

I wrote a critique on Ross over in his thread so I'm not saying he is boss and undroppable or anything here. But I do believe there is a real player in there thst needs to mature and be focused into what he should be doing on the pitch. Get him to look to create rather than go for goal, improve his fitness and work rate and make him track back and win the ball, keep him playing in his position rather than have him wander about the place. These sorts of things if improved on will see the real Ross come through.

Because like I said in his thread, there is a player in there and he still has many years to achieve that, but he needs to be improving now, not 4 years down the line. Only he can do it and under koeman he has a good a chance as any to do that. Make him droppable and all of a sudden Ross is having to look at his own game rather than know he is picked no matter what

Moyes did play kids tho... victor,Coleman, Vaughan and Barkley himself were all given debuts under Moyes... the managers that have over looked him are Moyes, warnock (this was a league 1 team), woy, Sam, Southgate ( who has worked with him at U21) and now koeman...

You mention that he was dropped by woy for not following instructions? Well who's fault is that? Has he learnt from that? My answer is "no" seeing as koeman has dropped him .... koeman wants pressing ... Barkley just pretends to press ... there were stories of the England set up saying he's impossible to coach... and the evdidence would suggest that this opionion is correct and the stories are more than likely correct

If you don't support Barkley you shouldn't comment on this forum. I hope that train of thought is carried across all the player threads for continuity.

I don't know mate.
Maybe, the vociferous minority find it hard to accept the majority's opinion?
That should be the same for any player, by the way but, it just seems that the 'Ross' situation divides opinion (85% versus 15%), the 15% being the vociferous minority.
