Ross Barkley

He's a Lampard or Toure type. Obviously he's not reached their heights yet, but at his age now he compares favourably with some of the best that's been seen in the PL.

It seems many want him gone though. And I think possibly that comes down to some supporters feeling that we need a more basic type of player for the objectives we want to reach in the short term. Which is fair enough I suppose, I just wish they'd articulate that and stop blaming RB for being what he is.
He's a million miles from Lampard. Lampard had huge mental toughness, and was super fit and highly disciplined. Ross is currently the polar opposite of that description

Because we'd re-buff any offers anyway.

He isn't for sale. And he's a key part of the team. He's in poor form but it happens.

Exactly.

The kids a key player doing a key role. We've lost 1 prem game.

We didn't buy any competition for his place so he just has to keep playing good or bad and he'll be judged at the end of May 2017

Hahaha what?!

Just because no one wants to pay over the odds, doesnt mean he not very good.

Barca and Real could go for Aguero...they havent. Not down to quality. Down to price.

And the top clubs tend to not need a Barkley as they already have one

To me...personally if United used the money they paid for Pogba and bought Rom and Ross they'd be firm title favorites for me.

Aguero is already at a top club, I'm sorry mate. If a top club wanted Barkley, they'd go in for him. Stop deluding yourself. Top clubs don't want him.

I think Barca and Real not going for Aguero has more to do with them both having all the best forwards in world football already than anything else mate.

Wouldn't stop another big club from getting him if they really wanted him especially when they're scrapping a top 4 finish like last season.

As mentioned. Top teams don't need Ross so wouldn't pay the money.

So the theory of a top club signing Ross and playing to his strengths is utter horse manure then, because none of them want him because they already have and can get better players?
