He's a million miles from Lampard. Lampard had huge mental toughness, and was super fit and highly disciplined. Ross is currently the polar opposite of that descriptionHe's a Lampard or Toure type. Obviously he's not reached their heights yet, but at his age now he compares favourably with some of the best that's been seen in the PL.
It seems many want him gone though. And I think possibly that comes down to some supporters feeling that we need a more basic type of player for the objectives we want to reach in the short term. Which is fair enough I suppose, I just wish they'd articulate that and stop blaming RB for being what he is.
I'm intrigued as to why no club has even looked like showing an interest in Barkley if he's as good as our wise old sage Day Vek says. Just has me thinking.
Because we'd re-buff any offers anyway.
He isn't for sale. And he's a key part of the team. He's in poor form but it happens.
You can say the same thing about Sergio Aguero

Not necessarily. A Mata player is one way to go but not the only way.We need a passer in the ten role he can learn from and link with.
You can't though can you.
Hahaha what?!
Just because no one wants to pay over the odds, doesnt mean he not very good.
Barca and Real could go for Aguero...they havent. Not down to quality. Down to price.
Aguero is already at a top club, I'm sorry mate. If a top club wanted Barkley, they'd go in for him. Stop deluding yourself. Top clubs don't want him.
Wouldn't stop another big club from getting him if they really wanted him especially when they're scrapping a top 4 finish like last season.
As mentioned. Top teams don't need Ross so wouldn't pay the money.
