I think he needs to go out and crunch someone from the kickoff next week. Just plough through them. Just so he remembers what it feels like to firmly challenge for the ball.

Mr Koeman is going to have to find a more conciliatory approach with certain players and take a harder line with others.

The trick is applying the medicine correctly and in the right dose...oh, and keeping it in house...always a good thing I reckon.

As time goes by the more convinced I am becoming that despite his impressive abilities( and he undoubtedly has some),he is not the creative midfielder we hoped for and still need. A diamond,certainly , but a deeply flawed one. The question for me is ,what is his best position?

Going to start struggling to defend Ross soon.

The overwhelming evidence is that he's very good when he plays on instinct, but the more you encourage him to think about the game the worse he plays. I'm afraid he doesn't have a footballing brain, which has been many people's thoughts on him for a while now.

It'll be very sad if he doesn't make it here, but unfortunately, that's increasingly looking like the case.
