Everton and Norwich City. Brothers in arms.

The morons would have probably done a Mexican Wave ffs.

Also, was busy last night and missed the game. I assumed that people clapped when Naismith's name was read by the announcer. Actual LOL at people applauding him for scoring a goal.

Have a word.

Yeah, he got a louder cheer than any of our players when his name was read out. Weird, I gave him a polite clap. But yeah the standing ovation for the goal was even weirder.

Rather clap Naismith scoring against us than Cleverly scoring for us tbh
A goal for Everton is a good goal , no matter who scores it and a goal against us is bad..no matter who scores.

Naismith was a good professional at Everton and deserved a good reception but not to the point of clapping his goal.

We lost fair and square.

It's not Naismiths fault,

I personally wouldn't have clapped the goal, i'd of been too livid and conceding the strangest of goals only Naisy could slot, but would have given him a warm welcome before and after the match. Feels right.

Nah I did think it was weird. Don't think I would have. Either a late consolation goal or just when he's announced or at the end.

Booing makes them play better...
It probably doesn't but that's beside the point . Most people at the match are working class and some on the poverty line who make sacrifices financially and going out there way ( WOOLS AND CO I'm looking at you) to follow the team . Bucharest in 05 the whole end boo'es them off and that time it was well deserved . We pay our money we have a right to an opinion . Tbh though the only people I usually boo are the same whoppers who get to there seat late every game .

I'm quite a limited person, but my heart is in the right place and my intentions are good. As such Steven Naismith is my spirit animal and I would've clapped him on and off the pitch.

Maybe not applauded the goal myself, but certainly wouldn't take issue with anyone who wanted to.

Players deserved to be booed off last night.

Indeed cleverley deserves to be booed off any time he leaves a football field.
A great start to the season, renewed hope around the place....and one poor game and you feel it is right to boo.
Unbelievable.....
