I will find you and consensually bum you
I'd run onto the pitch and give him a hug.Admit it if the Straq scored for against us we'd give him a standing ovation.

Couldnt agree more.Anybody else think it was just wrong?
I thought it was very strange and I wouldn't like it to happen again if an ex-player scores against us, clap them on, clap them off by all means, but when they score, sorry, it's wrong.
Slightly embarrassed me if I'm honest.
No fuming, just didn't like it and I've not witnessed it before, ok a sympathy clap when we are winning easily and a favorite ex-player scores I can understand that, but he knocked us out the cup.I've been to quite a few of our games over the years when we've clapped when the opposition has scored a really good goal and have no problem with clapping Naismith after he scored. If people want to fume pointlessly about it on the internet then I have no problem with that either.
Wind your neck in silly arse, the only cry arsing is from you about this thread.Pretty self explanatory
Said the same when fans clapped Kenwright, didn't you?
Oh, wait...
lol
Must've missed thatWind your neck in silly arse, the only cry arsing is from you about this thread.
... but he knocked us out the cup.
He wouldn't have celebrated anyway, he's a good egg, but even more so when as soon as he scores he hears us clapping him.Strictly speaking, in terms of goals scored, that's true, but the fact that about half our team didn't really turn up was the real reason we got knocked out. We had plenty of time to turn the game round after he scored, but we didn't.
As much as anything, clapping him last night was an acknowledgement of the fact that he didn't celebrate his goal.
