Ross Barkley

I actually disagree. I think he does use the ball well when he's around the center circle plus the game is less random then which makes it easier to coach.

He will never be as good as Modric but if he learned to defend he could be as good as Kroos. Maybe given Koeman's remark about playing DM that's where he sees him.

Barkley will never ever come close to someone like Tony Kroos. He's one of the best passers in the world and like i said: he has great vision and always sees the right pass. You cant learn that.

I hope i'm wrong;)

If you can't learn it then we are spending an awful amount of money on coaches we don't need.

Look at the difference between the City players last season and this season. They all are working as a team, interchanging, thinking two or three passes ahead of the opposition. That hasn't just happened by accident. Coaches make a huge difference.

Someone like Barry has all the experience in the world and doesn't need to be coached but it may be possible to coach that into Barkley.

Coaches can improve small things especially tactical things but do you really think when lukaku is going to city that within a couple of years Lukaku will have a fantastic first touch??

I don't think so, that will always be a weakness. Just like with Ross, he can improve it but it will never be worldclass because he hasnt got that talent.

No but we aren't talking about anything technical we are talking about coaching decision making into a player so that in time it becomes instinct.

But you are probably right, he won't be as good as Kroos in what he does but it doesn't mean he couldn't go on to be a better version of someone like Sissoko or Wijnaldum.

THE most talented player at the club. Our new manager is a former world class player. I expect Koeman to make this lad better than he is. To do that he needs to stop flapping his gums about him in the media and start coaching him. Maybe he can get off from FF a bit later for his golf sessions for a couple of days per week to earn some of the £6M he gets to do exactly that?

On the last thing i agree with you, but i think players like Sissoko and Wijnaldum arent anywhere near worldclass.

Agree with the bold bit but, the rest is a bit......

They are also not in the same class as Ross.
