Garth Crooks reiterates claim Liverpool are in danger of relegation

Garth Crooks has continued to baffle football fans and infuriate Liverpool supporters by claiming the Reds are in danger of getting into a relegation fight this season.
The BBC pundit was back with his team of the week on Sunday and was reacting to Liverpool’ shock defeat to Burnley over the weekend.
Liverpool were brushed aside by a clinical Burnley side despite dominating possession and the performance has seems to have energized Crooks who was singled out as a crazy man for suggesting Alberto Moreno could drag his team into the Championship.
‘What happened to Liverpool? Last week, I said that if they didn’t replace Alberto Moreno at left-back they would get relegated,’ Crooks wrote for BBC Sport.

Not really. You could argue sky are moshiris pay masters.

More so as he doesn't appear to be putting much of his own money into the club.

Exactly, talks to a wide audience on radio and TV, I reckon the billionaire knows what he's doing in terms of growing his businesses profile in order to make it more money

The more we get talked about in the media the better for our profile. If the results keep up and the media keep hyping us then maybe some of those players we couldn't attract this window might think twice come the next one.

It's noticeable how people are talking about us already after a few games. Yesterday on talksport Durham was talking about how he doesn't think (I forget who) is that good a midfielder and he said something along the lines of 'is he is as good as Kante at Chelsea or Idrissa Gueye at Everton? No.'

I just assumed that they must have been friends before Moshiri became involved with Everton, but when you put it that way I suppose it would make sense for him to cosy up to Sky.

Moaning and whinging like kids seems to be in many peoples DNA. We have made a good start to the season, on the cusp of something big, possible stadium news, an outstanding £200,000 gesture to a poorly Sunderland kid yet we still moan and whine about possible texts or things said to talksport.....folk...get a bit of perspective and stop nitpicking please.

I think the content of his comments are more important than the delivery method. His McCarthy comments would have had a similar reception from fans had it been made through the official site or his own twitter account. I do find it quite bizarre that he'd associate himself with White though. Does anyone know if there is any history to this relationship whilst he was a shareholder at Arsenal.?

Missed the Talksport slot. Was it worth watching and does anyone have a link?
