Transfer Rumour Moussa Sissoko

Gah, brown stuff happens, I reckon he'd have been a good signing for us but London, and probably more importantly, Champions League football won the day.

Sure, he may have played us along, but most in his position would have done the same. Game's the game.
Once you put it that way i can agree. I'm flipping ace at ignoring phone calls.

You have to pay inflated prices nowadays due mainly to the TV money available to everyone. Don't you agree that we have a better team/squad now or did you want us to buy 20 players and do a Man City/Chelsea instantly. I don't give a stuff how much we spend as long as we get stronger.........we have.

There is inflated and then there's INFLATED - Sissoko to me is the latter. Not sure how you work out I'm expecting Everton to do a Man City/Chelsea given my obvious concern over a 30M transfer. Koeman has clearly said he wanted more players in the other day - I'd suspect he will be disappointed in the only first team arrival being Enner Valencia.

The Drama on Sky was staged managed as BBC were saying Spurs were still interested Sky forgot to mention that , then when the deal broke it was would you believe it, how must the everton's fans must be devastated well staged well taken in!
Sky have stage managed this just to keep people watching this fiasco combined with the phantom text saying watch this space its all just terd and theyve made us look like muppets something should be done about this how do we shift the plucky little everton tag when the media consrantly set us up to fall

If it's true that he ignored koemans call and didn't even have the decency to let him know he didn't want to come, what an absolute t"t

Koeman will be livid with him for messing about, because there may have been a possibility we could have spent that money elsewhere (sorry what did I just say?) lol

Not too dissapointed in this.
Some people saying Levy did one over us and shows his cleverness in the transfer market.
Thats a load of shyte , Levy is as guilty as any of forking out for pure dross.
I think we found out his heart wasnt in it and now he is where he is wanted. Good luck to him.

The biggest question for me is why were we chasing after him in the first place?

As a squad player for around £15m I can see the benefits but £30m for a player who Newcastle supporters loathe is just a nonstarter. I really hope he plays an integral part for Spurs this season, it'll weaken them considerably.

So we're not signing him? Is that not a good thing? Personally thought the asking price was crazy

No, this is a bullet dodged. I'm not defending our summer transfer strategy overall but I am glad we didn't get this player. Very rarely looked even half decent with Newcastle, he put in a graft for France this summer but the fact that people were surprised at this spoke volumes.
