Read somewhere that he'll be signing a £60,000/wk contract extension with Sunderland - possibly as soon as today.
My own guess is that he will hold out until the window SLAMS SHUT before signing just in case some club offers more .......

Kone has also been active on his Twitter account again over the past three days - on Saturday he posted to say that the only way to show "his love for the club and fans" would be on the pitch; today he has had a pop at a journalist who claimed to have snapped him in Liverpool. Generally adopting the tone of a man who is going to stay. Hopefully he gets his act together.

Do you think he could be hedging his bets? Could be he doesn't want to be public enemy number 1 if a move doesn't come off.

Some Liverpool fan site is saying were signing Sakho on loan tomorrow. Apparently the source has been ITK on team news and a couple outgoings this season. If this were true Kon£ will be joining yous. Infact its strange that yous haven't moved on to other CB targets makes me think we've told yous to wait

I genuinely want to see Bolasie take Sakho on, one on one. Two bambi on ice footballers trying to muster up the coordination not to run into each other.
