Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs have already got very good first choice keepers. Joe Hart views the clubs below them as being a regression in his career and won't entertain moving to them.

Obviously those clubs wouldn't mate. But there are still decent teams, you'd think a prem move would suit Hart alot more for several reasons;

Close to home
Premier League Footy
Watchable by England Manager on a regular basis
Chance to prove himself with Guardiola watching...

Hart to Torino is a very strange move.

This nails it, why would they? They know 6 years ago they were a joke of a club, maybe with the empty seats they still are, but they also know we have money coming in now and could possible go on to do something like they have done, and wont do anything to help make that easier. Also that nonsense about Pep wanting to help Hart find a club was jarg, as if he cares.
I'm sure they are petrified of our -3m net spend. How much have they spent again this window?

City don't see us as rivals either now or in the future.

This window? How much did they spend the very first window after them sheiks went there? You do realise they went there about 6 years ago and it took them a few seasons to get going, Moshiri came to Everton a few months ago, big difference.

Did they not buy Robinho in the last 5 mins of the window when they had just arrived?

Torino was 12th in the Italian league last year. Hart must have been open to come to Everton if he's jumping at a Torino loan.

City may have been more willing to pay some of his wages at Torino but not for Everton since we're a competitor. Hard to tell.

Then again, the emergence of Stek may have changed the type of keeper Koeman is looking for. Hart obviously wants a guarantee of 1st team football and Stek deserves the right to compete for that spot.

Interesting move all around. Wonder who we are targeting now. Begovic? A young guy with potential? We really haven't heard too many rumors with regards to goalkeepers this summer.
