Come on Blues, let's add the finishing touches to the squad. We literally need one class goalkeeper, a backup striker and a central midfielder and we have an extremely strong squad!

How hard can it be if the money is really there? Let's go, Leicester proved it can be achieved last season even if you're not amongst the status quo, get the players in and let's have a real good go at getting into Europe.

100%, we've seen how much the club has struggled to bring in players. Qualifying for Europe would really help bring in bigger named players and show the footballing world that we're taking strides forward!

A goalkeeper and back up striker must be our priorities, a CB will surely come in to. As much as I'd love to sign a CM I cannot help but think that'll come down to McCarthy/Cleverly leaving.

Wondered how long it would take for you to crack and turn it on the fans rather than the club.

I'm a fan. Why would I turn it on myself?

I just don't get enjoyment out of being overly negative when there's no need?

Please tell me where, in that instance, I've turned anything on the fans?

You seem so set that I work for the club. I bloody wish I did, couldn't think of a more ideal job!

We aren't selling our best players though. We're selling players who can be sold for far more than their value to the team. The last time we truly shipped out one of our best players was 5 years ago with Arteta.

As I said yesterday, the Perez deal is much more embarrassing for them than it is us.

There's no shame in a player choosing Arsenal over us. But they panicked and have gone for their third choice simply because we made our move.

When you've been linked with players like Lacazette, Icardi and Draxler of course they'll be disappointed, their fans are after someone to push Giroud off his mantle and lead the club forward, we just want someone who can come off the bench and make an impact and be a back up to Lukaku. If we can somehow manage to sign him I feel he'd make a good acquisition, almost impossible to see him going anywhere but Arsenal now though.

gotta be honest i'm not bothered by mssing out on the guy myself. I'd rather spend 15m on a Bony type and get a Striker we know can score in the premierleague.

Can only speak for myself but I do wish I was a little less grumpy and a bit more optimistic but unfortunately due to having seen no success at all in my 23 years, I find it hard with everton.

I hope we find the answers to our problems in the next 5 days, but I just don't see it. It's not looking a squabble with anyone, it's just my view. I think we should have done better and i hope we start doing better so much but I just don't really see it.

exactly. he just screams of someone who will do alright (purely based on a hunch), when they need to be buying a higuain etc.
