Transfer Rumour Lamine Kone

He signed a 4 year deal six months ago, I think Sunderland have every right to try to keep him and don't blame them at all, they need him and it would be a real blow to their hopes of avoiding another scrappy season.

keeping a player who doesn't want to be there isn't something Moyes will do mate, his best teams benefitted from a really strong team spirit, no chance he will keep hold someone who could undermine all that

This all feels like posturing and media management to appear 'helpless' in their efforts to fend off Kone going to Everton. I thought this transfer had passed us by with (Moyes on behalf of) Kone denying making a request to leave and the offer of a new contract. I will now be very surprised if this doesn't happen.

Moyes should not stand in Kone's way. He has to move here for the sake of his career.
Surely Moyes will let Kone come to Everton "for the good of his career"

We should send moyes a fax. Sayin if kone wants to further his career and has any ambition he join us from sunderland

Maybe Moyes suddenly remembered what he said to us when he was at United... "for the good of his career id let him go"......

Moyes is just hindering his career if he doesn't sell him, should do the decent thing and let him leave.

Moyes should let him go to progress his career.

I think people are just taking the piss mate as Moyes said we should sell Baines and Fellaini to "further their career" and shouldn't stand in their way.

Just a long running joke ;)

I think Moyes and Sunderland are stalling the lads career personally.

Be boss if Koeman come out with "Sunderland need to let Kone go to further his career".

Just like tripe Moyes came out with regarding Fellaini and Baines when he was at United.

How times change eh? How does it feel now Moyes you big bumsniff.

I reckon Moyes and Sunderland shouldn't be standing in the way of him furthering his career

Anyone else like?

Why not send them Galloway on loan when we sign Kone? Moyes would be good for the lad and would much rather see him at Sunderland than with that lot in Newcastle......
At least Kone is forcing himself out and we aren't doing the dirty business lol. I think this would be a good PR move in a sense that Moyes gets a replacement, and Galloway gets some experience with a solid defensive manager. Win win
