I see your point and definitely agree that Moshiri will be looking to invest heavily in quality.
I'm unsure why some believe heavy investment is available. It's 4 days after season kickoff, the window for the Prem's been open for over 10 weeks, and our net spend is approx 0.
Hopefully we'll hold on to Lu and buy Koné which would be great. Maybe a couple more bargains like Rachid or loans. Maybe even Hart on loan. I don't believe there's money available to buy Hart.
I can see us spending but can't really see any reason to think it's going to be heavy investment as surely that would have happened already if it was available.

Who would have been excited if we were linked with signing the City 2nd choice, or Bravo? Not too many. I reckon Hart would be a great coup.

See your point. Have to see it to believe it.

Maybe I'm being too optimistic but I can't see the point of Moshiri coming here just to keep Everton running as it has been and not changing things up. He could of just stayed at Arsenal otherwise and got a better return on investment that was far safer. Also find it strange for Koeman and Walsh to leave where they were to come here, surely something is going on other than the fact they are getting more money (which coincidentally is a sign we have money available).

I could be completely misreading things but will live in hope for the next few days of the window at least.

Yawn...it's like the same post over and over again.

Which day does Everton usually break it's record transfer fee?

You have every right to fuel the Team Pampers after deadline day...until then you just look like a negative wum.

Somebody like Hart wasnt available 10 weeks ago, other players, like Hart will no doubt become available as we get near the end of the window, theres money to be spent, all over the league, clubs all over Europe just waiting, I would wager more money will be spent in these next 2 weeks than the whole of the last 2 months, by us and by others.

Soon you and your ilk will have to find something else to whine about, no doubt you will start on the stadium as soon as the window shuts, I can read people like you like an open book.

You say that buying Kone and Rachid would not end up as a heavy investment? You DO realize at that point, only 3 teams would have a higher net spend than us this window? That would be Man U, Man City, and Arsenal. And Arsenal would only be by 10 mill.

What type of book Goat, fiction, childrens novel or fairy story?

The question is a bit skewed really. Would I have him over Stelkenburg and Robles? Yes. Would I rather have someone decent? Yes.
