New Sunderland boss David Moyes signed Jagielka from Sheffield United in 2007 when he was in charge of Everton and he is keen to be reunited with his former captain.the story is that he was promised an improved deal from the club should they stay up (when they signed him in Jan that is).
I do think we're in for him - or at least interested - not sure we've made a bid that matches Sunderland's valuation however we have quite clearly been given permission to speak to him.
