moyes does thee hard work........

fumin me everytime davie moyes gets a gem after talent spottin some lazy farts with skips full of cash step in an think they can take the cream of our team..:@ :@ :@ stand firm moysie lad.. or all your hard work will be taken away...

Why not? I can't see us holding onto Felli and Rodwell for the next 7 or 8 years. I can't see them fighting for the same spot for the majority of their career. Either one will be sold.

Isnt his ald fella a Arab
Probs just tryimg o scare the Blues into giving him a big wage rise
He has to do it a lot longer first

If Chelsea did come in for him could Mo turn it down?
It would depend on if he could get a game.
If he couldn't, end of career left rotting in reserves.

Never mind them two, I can,t us holding on to Moyes in the next 3 to 5 years:(

The only job that would interest Moyes is moving up the M62 to Manc land to succeed ole whiskey nose. Major obstacle or several! there's a good few better candidates before their hierarchy would even consider Moyes.
Also imho, the other big jobs just don't seem to suit Moyes, hence Chelsea, Arsenal. Other premiership clubs would either be a side-step or move down... and

Last.. The Hoops... just before he's due to retire..:P

I wouldn't be too sure on Moyes only leaving for United.
There are some very big clubs in the Prem, and he wants success like the next man, yet owes us very little.

Rodders' position is centre-back though, he's only being played centre-mid right now to prepare him for his real position, without the risk of putting a teenager in at centre-back. Once Rodders progresses they wont be competing any more.

I don't know about 7-8 years, but I reckon we'll have both for the next several years at least.

When/if we do sell it will be for a massive profit.

Fellaini - 22, bought for £15mill. He wouldnt be sold for anything under £15million so you're talking upwards to £20mill as it includes his contract which he's still got 3 years on and his age.

Rodwell - 18, youth academy. Wouldnt be sold for anything less than £15million being he's young, a 1st team player in a top flight club....add an extra £5million+ just because he's English and also he's on a long contract.

Both players you're talking £20million+ each in todays market.

Didn't Aston Villa hold on to Barry?? We need to do the same. I liked the way O'Neill handled that situation despite Barry wanting the move to the [Poor language removed].

We need to keep hold of our players against their will even with a bold stance like "back off and [Poor language removed] ".

The point is that we have already been in such situation this summer and there's lots to learn from it. When Rooney left we couldn't do much as he got tempted with better achievemnt chances which we couldn't offer. Bt now we damn can! and that's what we have shown over the years and It's about time we keep hold of our big guns.

I wouldn't swap Fellaini with any midfielder in the world in the whole world atm. I mean it! Same goes for Rodwell,Mikel,Jags. What I would love to see is that Fellaini, rodders come out in the media and say it like terry said so that the world knew "I'm happy here, I love it here..I don't wanna move anywhere"

The likes of Mikel,Jags,Fellaini,Rodwell,Pienaar are the focal point of our success in the near future and every team knows it how focking amazing team we got in there!

Buy Gerrard chelshit! Afterall you need to gel the partnership of lampard and gerrard for england until Rodders knocks Gerrard out.

Good to see you're positive about the team.
Barry went to City for the ride I think, as did Lescott. When a team is being put together, and looking to get the best players in, it's very flattering to have your name requested, and I reckon a lot of it was psychological as opposed to purely financial reasons.

You think i wasn't positive about the team before...I'm devastated here mate:(

As far as the financial reasons. Hell! What financial reasons...I think we have financial difficulties bringing people in but surely when you need to keep them..we're so damn good enough to keep em together. I'd rather pay pienaar, mikel, felli, rodders more wages than sign an average player just to increase the numbers.
