BTW, if Koeman plays 4-3-3, he needs a player with some energy and a bit of pace in midfield, or we'll get over-run so easy. Was at the game today and Barnsley breezed past Gibbo so often, though Besic played well enough.

He's just not good enough.
He runs around a lot and puts a tackle in but can't control himself thus is a yellow/red card risk.
On the ball he's technically our poorest midfield player.
I just don't see what he offers.
Would any of last season's top 8 want him?

Expensive wages for a bench player IMO
A younger member of the squad like Tom Davis is ideal to use this season a bether box to box midfielder keen with loads of potential!

see how he plays under Koeman first before wanting him shipped off. He was superb in his first season here.
