We have just spent twelve years turning a land that had one of the most secular regimes in the region into a version of hell. Western policy towards the region has been a disgrace for years. It needs to be sorted out, urgently. Until it is, and especially whilst the nonsense that is Merkel's immigration policy continues, these sort of attacks will keep happening.
